Capping Steel NO1 is a 2440mm long x 76mm wide galvanised steel section, with a 19mm internal radius section, pre-drilled ready for fixing to wooden poles. Often referenced as a transmission pole, telephone pole, telecommunication pole, power pole, hydro pole, telegraph pole, or telegraph post.
Maintenance engineers fit the steel capping on wooden poles to provide cable protection from weathering and unwanted tampering. Capping steel NO1 offers up to 19 mm in diameter of cable trunking space.
