Ring Polehead Dropwire is a galvanised steel 240mm ring x 16mm diameter bolt fitted to wooden poles, often referenced as a transmission pole, telephone pole, telecommunication pole, power pole, hydro pole, telegraph pole, or telegraph post.
It is used for the distribution of cables from the top of poles and enables maintenance engineers to improve cable management on congested poles, due to the larger size of the polehead ring.
