Unitube Single Jacket Corrugated Steel Tape Armoured Cables are suitable for direct burial as well as for duct applications. Optical fibres are presented in a loose tube and surrounded by Steel Tape Armour. To protect the optical fibres from water ingress, the tube is filled with a thixotropic gel, and is enclosed in a thermoplastic sheath. These cables can be used for outdoor applications in ducts or aerial drop for access and distribution for campus/ between and within buildings.

Product Application
Multitube Single Jacket Fibre Optic Cables are typically used for outside plant (OSP) applications. These cables are suitable for direct burial duct as well as for duct applications, installed by using blowing or trenching techniques. These cables can also be installed in ducts with either pulling or blowing techniques as per standard methods. This cable can be traced by means of metallic tracer machine in the field.
