Evolv™ Splitter Terminals with Pushlok™ technology.
These splitter terminals are designed for use in FTTX (Fiber to the X) networks and are smaller than traditional terminals, making them easier to install in tight spaces. The Pushlok connector is half the size of other connectors and enables terminals to be up to one quarter of the size of traditional terminals. These splitter terminals can be used in distributed split access networks and can be placed in handholes or pedestals, on building facades, or in aerial networks.
The terminal has an input port for a single Pushlok drop assembly to provide a signal source, with subscriber adapter ports aligned in a single row on the right. The ports are keyed to provide an audible and physical positive feedback, which can help to minimize technician variation and potential damage due to mishandling. Additionally, the improved aesthetics of the terminals can improve end-user adoption for façade applications.
