COBRA Rodding systems, are a powerful auxiliary tool for rope traction in the pipe. The smooth and flexible surface of the COBRA cable can easily make the rope or cable pass through a narrow channel.
Glass fibre-reinforced plastic wire threading has the advantages of saving time, and effort, whilst improving efficiency. It is selected as the main tool for pulling cables and optical cables in many industry fields such as telecommunications, power, and construction. It also can measure the pipeline length and clean piping to ensure that pipes are up to standard.
Features and Benefits
Rod Guide
The rod guide of the COBRA system is used to push and draw back the fiberglass rod. The fiberglass rod can easily pass through the rod guide avoiding unnecessary friction and wear.
Hand Brake
Most of our COBRA Rodding frames are equipped with a hand brake to help it stop. A light adjustable brake prevents the rod from reeling out of the basket under its own tension.
Metre Marks
There are meter marks on the rod for the user to easily read. The mark is waterproof, ultraviolet, and will stay clear even after using it for a long duration. Its outer protected layer is made of high-density ABS resin, which has great anti-UV capability/ properties. Its also very wear-resistant, ensuring a long product service of life.
Manufacture
Our COBRA frames are manufactured in strengthened Zinc Plated Steel, ready for everyday handling and cabling use. Fitted with high-performance re-enforced fibreglass rod with high tensile strength, providing a reliable and rugged duct rodding tool.
Wheels
For our heavier COBRA Rodding Systems wheels are fitted for extra mobility and ease of use. COBRA Rodding Replacement Reels are also available.
Range
Available between 4.5mm to 14mm diameter and 60m to 350-meter lengths (Length dependant on rod diameter size).
6mm diameter available lengths:
